Constitution is the supreme legislation in all countries of the world. It is above laws and regulations. This legislative document comprises the most important rules that regulate the regime, outlines the competencies of its public authorities, and emphasizes freedom, equality, and the sovereignty of the people and the law. However, reality in many countries may not be compatible with what is stated in their constitutions. In order to understand the constitutional law of any country, it is necessary, in addition to studying and analyzing the constitutional and legal texts, to understand the reality surrounding these texts and study history and society of such state, in addition to taking into consideration the extent to which reality does not match the text.
