Welcome to the Qatar University Testing Center IELTS Academic – paper-based registration site.

You may register and take this test, if you want to study at undergraduate (bachelor) or graduate studies (masters or PhD) level at Qatar University.

We are testing only for QU students and for those joining QU in upcoming semesters. If you require IELTS for other purposes, immigration or visa, please visit https://www.britishcouncil.qa/en/exam/ielts/book-test.

If you are under 18, you will need your parent or guardian to book the test for you.

Please note:

Candidates taking the test outside their own country must use a current passport. A passport is the only form of ID document accepted on the test day. The document must be valid /not expired at the time of registration and on the test day.

Qatari candidates can use valid/ not expired Qatar ID or passport. The type of ID used for registration should be available with the candidate on the test day also.
